Jean-Marc Nerson

Jean-Marc Nerson: photograph Jean-Marc Nerson is Technical Manager, with responsibility for Eiffel sales and consulting, at Cap Gemini, ITMI Division (Paris). Cap Gemini is an international software service and technology provider forecasting $3 billion sales in 1997.

From 1985 to 1991 he was project manager at ISE, where he led the development of the original versions of ISE Eiffel. From 1991 to 1996 he was general manager of a French training and consulting company distributing and promoting Eiffel products.

At Cap Gemini, Jean-Marc Nerson is in charge of promoting Eiffel solutions and more generally the modeling and development of complex O-O based systems, advising and consulting in various industrial areas. Expertise is also provided on systems including workflow support, and Web based architectures. Customer applications range from Telecommunication to Information Systems, Banking, Trading and Insurance. He is also co-editor of the French journal L'OBJET and has been actively involved in many of the TOOLS conferences.

Jean-Marc Nerson originated the BON approach to analysis and design and, with Kim Waldén, co-authored the book Seamless Object-Oriented Sofware Architecture (Prentice-Hall), the reference and method book on BON.
