No. Since I have written that in spite of my misgivings (which entirely remain)
I was giving up on the request to have nominations reopened, and since the
other people who had written (in public and private messages) that they also
wanted the process restarted have not manifested themselves since I wrote that,
I think we have to consider that the board as defined by Simon
is the current board - unless someone pushes very soon pushes for reopening.

Either we reopen the nomination process and the old board in still in place,
or we don't and the new board is in place. In any case we do have a board.

Since in the absence of further developments the first of these two alternatives
is the one in effect, you are as much a member of the board as I am, so you
can take as many of the corresponding initiatives as you wish. Just use the
nice-board mailing list, not the library mailing list.

I do hope that next year's process will be fair, open and democratic; otherwise
I don't think NICE will survive for very long.
