If you have sent me anything in the last 48 hours then please resend it to be on the safe side. For those interested, the problem was with a mailing list. The list server (at MIT) and a faulty mail demon (somewhere else) entered a bounce loop which also spewed copies of a 41k message to the entire list (including me). Trevor Wright (our sysadmin) heroically tried to find space for my overflowing mail box, but some messages may have been dropped on the floor in the process.
