The issues found in the current version are real and will be handled by this group during this year. However, we do not need to solve them now, for today or this week or for this show. There is more to be gained by going to press with the current version than haggling out the wrinkles and pot holes for another couple of months. I am in favor of your (or anybody else's) work towards continuing the agreements already started. More, I realize, is going to be accomplished by the vendors talking to each other than with our group's slow progress. I, for one, will not be at all offended if they combine their fine fine talents and bring a unified proposal for PELKS back to this committeed. We really need concensus amoung the vendors in order for any of NICE's goals to be achievable. So I say "Yes, it's okay by me" for the draft that has been put together at the ISE ftp site. I will not be at the upcoming conference, but wish my best to all Eiffelists attending. Hope to get a trip report on your return.
