ISE Releases EiffelStudio 5.1!

Highlights include two new versions, Professional and Home, as well as the latest version of EiffelStudio, our acclaimed development environment.

ISE Eiffel 5.1 is one of the first commercial products to provide support for Microsoft .NET, as well as offering availability on several operating systems, including Windows, Unix, Linux and VMS.

Eiffel Conference in Paris

At the invitation of the CCR, Mr. Colnet (Professor at the University of Nancy 1 and head of the team which develops the SmallEiffel Compiler) will present the Object Oriented Language, Eiffel.

The Conference will take place in Jussieu on Wednesday, December 5th from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm, on the 4th floor of Tower 65-66.

  • 10:30 am to 11:30 am: Presentation of Eiffel (what it brings compare to C++ and JAVA)
  • 11:30 am to 12:30 noon: Implementation, examples, Q & A
  • 14:00 pm to 16:00 pm: In depth discussion with real-time examples

This session will be taught using the latest release of ISE Eiffel and will describe all the recent additions, in particular, iterator programming and advanced Design by Contract using agents, tuples, and generic creation.
