Selecting drives with Personal Eiffel

(This is an obsolete page, applicable only to ISE Eiffel version 3. Please update to version 4 or later, under which none of the problems mentioned here occurs.)

Problem

When getting started with Personal Eiffel, a file selection box lists the available drives / directories and invites you to choose a working directory. But whatever you choose, Personal Eiffel keeps the starting directory's drive as working drive.

Fix

To use directories on drive (e.g.) F:, specify F:\ as the starting directory on the program manager icon.
